What CaliEndo is
CaliEndo is a professional network connecting endocrine clinicians and institutions across Southern California: academic medical centers, integrated health systems and independent practices. CaliEndo is an initiative of Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists Medical Group (DESMG).
What it does
- Advanced diagnostics and therapies. Shows which members offer specialized procedures and treatments, and supports their adoption across the region.
- Clinical trials hub. Lists endocrine trials at member sites, linked to official registries.
- Second opinions. Makes physician-to-physician second opinions easy across members.
- Shared expertise. Case conferences and expert sessions for professionals.
- Regional view. A sourced picture of endocrine disease and access to care across the five hubs.
What it does not do
- CaliEndo does not conduct, promote or fund basic research.
- It does not sponsor or run clinical trials; it lists them.
- It does not provide medical care, and it is not a patient referral service.
