Operation
CaliEndo is an initiative of Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists Medical Group (DESMG). DESMG operates the network: it maintains the website, reviews submissions and coordinates programs.
Membership
Institutions become members when an authorized representative confirms their participation in writing. Members are listed on equal terms, and DESMG is listed in the same way as every other member. Individual clinicians join by creating a reviewed directory profile.
Content
Clinical content on this site is written and medically reviewed by a named physician author. Specialized capabilities are listed by the members who offer them and reviewed before publication.
Scope
- Clinical care, advanced diagnostics and therapies, and clinical trials.
- No basic research, and no research funding.
- Trials are listed, not sponsored or run, by CaliEndo.
- Second opinions are physician to physician; no patient information is handled through the website.
